An extended\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">literature review informs the structuring of information regarding the expected\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">returned benefits; while the related findings are analysed using the graph and\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">concept algebra. Five major components are identified as having a significant\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">impact over the doctoral programme. One of them, namely social behaviour, shows\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">a lack of connectivity with the rest of the identified components. The present\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">research also looks at the expected impact created by the community of social\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">behaviour as induced by the implementation of a specialised LMS for doctoral<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">school. Cooperation, collaboration and professional socialisation enhance the\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">overall effect of process improvement. Compliance and conformity are the main\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">engine involved in enhancing the connectivity between LMS and Cross-<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">disciplinarity.
